Carly + Ben - Columbus, OH February Wedding
Carly and Ben are the sweetest couple! Carly found me online in her search for a wedding photographer and I couldn't be happier she did. She and Ben feel like friends I've known forever.
I had so much fun capturing their engagement session last fall in Grandview and I knew time would fly leading up their February wedding. We had our fingers crossed the entire time for nice wedding day snow and Ohio delivered! We had some flurries during their bridal party portraits, moved the family formals inside, and then had the perfect soft grey light with snow on the ground for their newlywed images after the ceremony. It couldn't have gone better weather-wise.
Carly and Ben chose the 94th Aero Squadron restaurant for their day and it suited them so well. Ben is in the Coast Guard and he looked amazing in his uniform! Carly was stunning of course, and all their friends and family love them so much. I had a team of paparazzi looking out the windows behind me when we were outside for newlywed snow images!
A few of the many things that made this day special were their request for images of their rings with a rock from Loch Ness, one of their favorite places, their shared first dance with all their friends and family, their complete willingness to work with whatever weather was thrown their way, the knot Ben had to help Carly tie during their ceremony (yes, she practiced it) and just their complete joy to be together.
Sending lots of love and happiness to the newly married couple and I look forward to seeing you two again soon!
